KOMPENDIUM is Solotronik’s last album in Esperanto.
Solotronik found that almost all people in the Esperanto movement barely appreciated alternative music, but only accepted specifically more popular musical styles. Actually, Solotronik’s music has always been avant-garde, mixing electronic and experimental music with classical music, and a bit of pop.
This album is explosive and controversial, with original subjects. Solotronik hates stupid poetry without deep sense and materialistic literature by scholars, that only serves to decorate the air with “beautiful” words that make us sleepy.
The situation in the world nowadays forces us to think about our future. In this case, songs such as "Nova Monda Ordo" (New World Order) talk about the advent of a single government for the entire world with strict militaristic rules for all, the implanting of RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) tags in our hands to check up on us, and to destroy us automatically and electronically as needed. Orwell, Vernes, and Asimov had already “warned” us, it isn’t make-believe, everything is gradually coming to pass; and presently the United States has already approved this diabolical tool, next year they will begin implementing it.
The fall of the petrodollar pushes Russia and China to invest in gold, and in order to fight against them the elite created the Bitcoin (virtual cryptomoney). In this case, the song "Bitkoin" talks about this virtual battle that is going on now in the world of high finance.
"Mi estas Kenjo..." (I Am a Kenyan) pays tribute to the victims of war, whether in Africa, in Syria, and in Iraq in particular, from a clearly humanitarian point of view. Here poetry is vain, and serves no purpose, while thousands of people are dying, or homes are being destroyed, expelling the survivors, etc.
"CMX Simulakrum" presents an occasion to meditate, referring to the plans of the secret services to simulate supposed terrorist attacks and disasters. The song also gives us the opportunity to reflect on whether the real terrorists are not subsidized by the same powers? And also that such attacks are not real, they are simulations created by the C.M.X. department. A controversial subject about a plot; many believe sheepishly what they see on television, while others do not believe.
"Takao Simfonio" (Takao Symphony) is Solotronik’s last song in Esperanto, in homage to his Japanese friend, the musician La Mevo, who died in 2008, and who had given Solotronik a lot of support. He deserves this tribute!, and other songs more...
The musical style in this album mixes various electronic tones with classical structures on a rhythmic base of random systems, and polirhythmics, or far from rhythm, along with various influences of styles like trip-hop, chaos, and jungle music. The author of the text is anonymous, the videos were made by using the animation program “Premier” to its limits in order to achieve creative results.
Special thanks to Flo for his support of this album project, to RoKo for the revision and arrangement of the texts, to Benito for the painting, to Annabelle for the cover graphics, to Triboulet for the mastering, and to the anonymous author of these texts.
